About me

As a fluent speaker of both Swedish and German, I am able to translate even the most complicated documents with accuracy and efficiency into a final product that is both easy to read and true to the original.  I have lived and studied in both Austria and Sweden, my current home.  Originally I come from Ohio, in the midwest of the United States.  During my time there, I earned a B.A. in Political Science Pre-Law at Ohio University and a M.A. in European History at Cleveland State University.  My grades at Cleveland State were nearly flawless (3.92 g.p.a.) and I was awarded the history department's biannual Modern European History Award.  I believe that this award, which included a cash award of $300, is a testament to my writing ability.  The ability to write well is, to me, every bit as important for a translator as knowledge of a source language.  My specialties are the social sciences and general text translations, but I am also experienced with contract and legal translations.  When translating a document I strive to create the most accurate translation possible while keeping both the author and the reader in mind.  I am flexible, reliable, and affordable.  If you are interested in working with me, I think that you will value the communication and feedback that have become a part of my services.  Please feel free to contact me via email with any questions or comments.  Thanks so much for your time!
